Please Help ! What kind of EBAY exhaust system ??

hi guys
I am going to buy some Ebay exhaust system for my 98 eclipse gsx awd .
And i undecided which one to buy :/ there are many of them on ebay :/
so im asking you guys to help me find good one that goona fit my 98 gsx and its gonna be 3in and looks like n1 exhaust

im asking to fit my gsx because
i found this and it says " Winner will receive same product in the picture"
but to me it looks like 1989-1994 ECLIPSE GSX exhaust system not 95-99 :/

So im asking you guys to help me find one good , and that its gonna fit my 98 gsx , 3in , and maybe some of you have that kind of ebay exhaust and will tell me if its directly bolt on and if its do its work

i got a ebay exhaust on my gst and i love it sounds great

Ebay exhausts are mostly the same. Couple off tiny changes like hangers or maybe a neckdown at the catback. Choose whichever you please and run with it.

I have the Catback from Japan Import Shop, and it fit perfectly to the stock DP and cat.

^^^^ I bought the same one he bought. Japanimportshop, it is a pretty good piece. I plan to install it right now. Fast shipping, but they don't send a tracking number. They just send it ASAP, and it shows up before you know it.

I also have the one from japanimportshop. I did get a tracking number, but as was said above me, it ships before you know it anyway. I installed it with a 3" downpipe and had absolutely no issues with it. It is a good system.

for a total of about $210. These two pieces deleted the cat. Direct bolt on. It is angled downward a bit in the back as you can tell in my gallery pic I uploaded. But it is 3" and I can feel a difference. Highway it is easy to do 85 now

Looks sexy. BUT I will tell you this, that looks exactly like a GST one. Which means it will NOT fit. I would message the sellers and ask them. I talked to a ton about their product, if they didn't know something... I passed on their item.

You want one specified for the GSX. Ask them does it fit both or do they have a seperate one for the GSX. If they tell you it fits both, they are lying. Here are some pix. I might have uploaded a few already. Lets try anyway.

I run the SR*S 3"inch S.S. cat-back exhaust on my car & i love it.I got mine on E-bay for $200.00 shipped to Alaska so you can't beat that & it still looks like new after 1 1/2 years.

The one I linked to is the one that I purchased. The picture is not of the actual exhaust. It is 3" the whole way, but it's only a cat-back. As I said, I installed it with a 3" downpipe and had not issues. It sounds and performs great. It also doesn't angle down like the one pictured on the red GS-T. I can assure you if you want a good, cheap cat-back system, you can't do better then the one I posted a link to.

Oh, and I'll try to remember to take some pictures and post them tomorrow of what it looks like installed.

I have a Tsudo N1 exhaust on my GST and I like it. Its not the annoying high pitch fart can the ricers in my area have. Its a nice deep tone that is quiet but can be heard if you get on it.

I HAD The Tsudo exhaust from that same company. HAD.

1. The exhaust bottle necks at the flange going to the DP. It's barely noticeable unless you truly look at it. You can see it pinches in to adapt to a 2.5 flange.

2. If you have a stock DP, fitment is pretty decent, a little torque needed to close a small gap between the cat and mid-pipe. However, if you buy a DP, IE PR's 3 Inch, which eliminates the cat and is designed for a true N1 system, the gap is huge and even with long bolts and a lot of torque, you still have a tiny leak, not audible, but it is there.

3. Using the 2.5 inch flange on this eBay turbo is a pain, especially to mate against a true 3 inch. You need to be on point to be on point with that crush gasket to make sure there is no leak.

4. I find this "stainless steel" subject. 2 years late, showing signs of rust, and not just surface.

One other thing, my Megan is so noticeably sexier sounding.

Also I don't think this is true 3 inches, I noticed it was very easy to slide my N1 style eBay muffler in and out, but had a truly difficult time putting the Megan in, even had to bang in the spare tire wheel to get the pipe to slide in.

Does anyone know which of these ebay exhaust does NOT neck down to fit to a stock DP? Thats the only thing thats been stopping me from getting one. The pics are never of the exact product your getting and the few that are show them necking down.
