So the day before I have someone coming to look at my car, something goes wrong. I was driving around and then all of the sudden when I turned into a parking lot, something happened. My car started running like shit, kinda like it is misfiring when I accelerate and it won't rev very high. I checked for blown off couplers and stuff but I couldn't find anything. The car starts but very weakly everytime. When I am driving and I push in the clutch it goes all the way down to 0 rpms, but it doesn't shut off. It still runs it just sounds like it is about to sputter out but it does not. Actually when I was in second gear driving it home and pushed the clutch and turned into my drive way it stalled out, but if I am at a red light it just idles at 0 and almost stalls out but it does not? What could be the problem. I hope its not serious. What do you guys think.

God it could be anything man honestly. Its hard to say without physically looking at the car and checking over things. Check the plugs and wires and coils first. check that out and report back and lets go from there.

Its fairly uncommon for injectors to fail simultaneously. If one failed you would def feel it but your car will still run somewhat. Check your fuel filter also. What kind of engine management do you run?

I would check the spark plugs make sure they are all firing, check compression, then check fuel pressure/injectors.

Ok I will check all of that tom. Do these symptoms sound like crankwalk? That is what people have been telling me it is even know I have a 6 bolt.

I forgot to mention I have a cel. Is this a good sign because I don't believe that you get a code when you crankwalk. Am I correct?

1998 GST uses a CAS (Camshaft Angle Sensor) for ignition timing right? So what would "crankwalk" have to do with it? Only engines with a Crank Angle Sensor run poorly when crankshaft end play becomes excessive.

I really couldn't tell you, but 2g's walk all the time. Usually the 7bolts which is stock but mine is a 6bolt from a 1g. They say they can still walk however. I'm not sure what to do.
