I was attempting to do the seafoam treatment, and was using the vacuum hose from the TB to the BOV. While working the clamp on the hose around the BOV end, I got it loose enough so that it slid back a little. I then tugged on the hose, and it slid back as well. I gave it one more little tug...and the plastic "nipple" fell off the BOV. I did perform the seafoam treatment, however, am at a loss for how to get the hose back onto the BOV. It is damn near flat, with just a small portion sticking out maybe about 1/4 of the turn around, so I know where the hose goes. I trimmed the end off the hose, and am searching for ideas on how to re-attach it to the BOV. Any type of glue that would work...or if there is a wrap around clamp type thing with a nipple protruding from it. I currently am letting "3M Weather Stripping and Gasket Adhesive" dry, but it doesn't seem to have the strength I need.
Any and all ideas are welcomed and appreciated.
Thank you.

Is there any parts places you know of that carry aftermarket BOVs? Couldn't find any online.
What would the damages be of letting the hose go slack...even if it is just until I can get a new one. This is my only car, and even then I would need to drive it to the parts store to get the part. Would JB Weld be acceptable/hold up for a while?
Thank you for the speedy supply.

I went to autozone and bought a vacuum nipple about the same size and j/b welded it on untill I got my 1g installed. It worked like a charm.
p.s. If you could not find a BOV online you did not look very hard they are everywhere. But just j/b weld your together untill you get what you want I ran mine like that for over 4 months with no problems

What kind of JB Weld would be best? What problems would I encounter if I were to run with it unhooked for a little while...the seafoam is still in the car, and I want to get it out. Sorry for the questions, but I am new to this and I don't want to mess up anything more than I already have.
Thanks again.

I think you misunderstood me...it's not that I can't find any BOVs online, it's that I couldn't find any at local parts stores websites (autozone, PepBoys, advance...etc.). But thank you for pointing that out, and for letting me know that you got 4 months of use out of JB Weld. I read up on it and I wasn't sure if the temperatures would exceed their 500 degree limit. I will do so tomorrow, assuming that I make it to the store.
Thanks again.
