I have been having serious clutch problems and based on the evidence I think the pivot ball may have broken. Has anyone ever heard of this happening. Is the pivot ball replaceable of a part of the bell housing? And does anyone have an exsploded diagram of a 1G dsm transmisson with the shift fork and pivot ball? Plus is any part numbers are known for any pieces I might be looking at replacing if this is the case (broken pivot ball). Thanks

yeah, its replaceable, i dont have a diagram or anything but most likely its just worn real bad, i replaced mine when i installed my 2600

any tips for getting the tranny out and changing the pivot ball?

not really, its a pain in the ass to get the tranny out and will take about 2 minutes to change the ball....grab your manual and a lot of patience and youll be good to go

ohhhh man, I need patience. Well we'll see what happens. :)
