Piston help

Hello all!!!! I am writing today not only to introduce myself but I have a question im pretty sure I already know the answer to but I figured id use all resources that are at my disposal.

A little background: 92 GVR4 1G 6bolt 16G turbo ARP head studs eagle H-Beam rods about 20k on rebuild


Now for the question: my timing belt jumped the other day when I started the car to go to work one morning. When I started the car all I herd was pistons hitting valves so when I got off work that day I pulled the head and this is what I found. I cant remember for the life of me if these pistons had relief marks already in them or if the valves did that. Im in no way new to this type of work as im a professional mechanic and this is not my first DSM. Ive gotten mixed answers that yes I can reuse the pistons as well as no I cant. That's why im posting on this wonderful amazing very helpful site. Thanks to all in advance who can help.

Clean the pistons up, sand any burrs or high spots and look for cracks,chips. If no cracks or chips you can reuse.

I was gonna do that regardless when I clean up the old HG off the mating surface. I attached some pics of them now to the thread but I don't know if I did it right. basically im just trying to get a plan of action-do I need to go ahead and pull the block since im this far into the teardown? But I will get them cleaned up probably today and repost those pics.

They will be ok. Mine look exactly look those. Those still move as they are supposed to. No clunking or noise and seals are still good. Make sure your CPS and sensor wheel didn't get damaged.
