piston and rods

The rods will not work. The pistons can be though if you get a 6 bolt rod and have them machine out the small end to fit the larger 22mm wrist pin from the 7 bolt which is favorable for added strength.

just for the fact taht you wouled have to machine brand new 6 bolt aftermarket rods for the 2g pistons i would say just try and sell the ones you have used (if they are in good shape) and put that money towards some 6 bolt pistons since you'll be buying new rods anyway. and that way you can sell the 7 bolt stuff as a piston and rod combo (as long as they are in good shape as mentioned)

yeah, if you're not trying to go over 500whp, just go ahead and try selling your internals if in good shape and then running 2g pistons with 1g rods.

I'd say keep the 2g pistons unless you're buying a 6bolt that doesnt need rebuilt that has fresh 1g pistons already. The 2g pistons are a bit better than 1g pistons but the 1g pistons I'd still trust though too.
