For the life of me cannot figure out how to hook this back up.

Anyone have a quick snapshot of a 2G throttle body with how the cable is hooked up?

Also any vacuum diagrams would be great....want to make sure I have everything perfect (So far it goods like everything is there).

Thanks a ton.

Unbolt the bracket from the Intake Manifold. That should get you going. Its kinda hard to explain but Im sure if you get the bracket loose you will figure it out. Stick the ball end of the cable into hole on the arm that runs the butterfly valve (at a loss of words to describe it) then there is a groove that the cable rides in.... As for the vacuum lines are they still the originals? Should have a yellow/red/blue then an ABC on the vacuum ports?

I can post up more pics tomorrow and give you the details. My 2g still has OEM lines as I had access to some cheap mitsu parts at one time :(

Okay there is a hole with a section cut out on the rear end side of the car, you need to slide the cable through that groove while keeping the little pin straight so it goes through the hole, once that is in it should just slide the cable into the groove and you are good to go. It helps to open the throttle a bit by hand so you have the space to fit the cable in since I'm sure it wont reach all the way otherwise.

You have cruise control or not?

Yes I do have cruise control.

I can "hook" the little ball into the spring and arm/lever......but the tension is screwed.

I think I have the spring mechanism hooked up improperly.

Anyone got a quick picture of it? Thanks a ton!

yah you don't need to unbolt anything to get it on... just make sure you hold the throttle fully open to help you aline it with the hole and slit.

I had to rotate my springs twice around, its really easy to have it nab your finger too. The guide and the groove that holds the cable should be on the bottom. When the cable pulls on the throttle it should move the top side of the throttle plate away from the intake manifold.

If you could snap some pics of it hooked up that would be killer!
