Since you are looking for opinions, I will be honest. I'm not a fan of the PVC gauge holder at all. To me it looks out of place, like a submarine's periscope coming up.

I like the green, I would have don't something different on mounting the guage but looks good.

it was but when I put the light in it went were it is don't know why. The PVC is temp but it was that or out in the open. I do like were it sits I can see it good. What should I do to get it to sit a 0 again

It looks good, I wouldn't do it to mine though.

At least give'em props for being creative. It was a good idea. DSMr's gotta be cheap and find a quick solution.

I kind of like it. I really like the green though, very unique! :thumb:

Dont like defacing the dash but props for being inventive. I dunno the only way i could see that looking good is the gauge pod being used in conjunction with a complete show car where if would all be fiberglassed over an painted, so it looked like it matched along with out gauges then i would think it was bad ass.

dont care for the gauge pod, but i do wish u lived closer to redo my itnerior lights, the speaker lights and the green is amazing

Um, hmm. I don't like the PVC, reminds me of the time I saw PVC used as a 4" short ram intake. Just please don't make one for your Tach LOL. Props on doing your own thing.

why not just spend a little extra money on a gauge pod? even a ebay one wouldn't be that bad. as far as the light go i like the green. i think red would look cool but that is all jst preference LOL. but props on being creative. :thumb:

the reason I didn't get a real one is they come out to be like 20 an change for a singel pod and to spend that on somthing that Im going to cut it makes no sense I only spent 3.25 and no Im not going to use PVC for the rest next week I'm ganna start the dash any one got a pic of the back of a dash?

Never seen that before, that's for sure.

i think the lights are sweet, and i also think that coming up with the idea for your gadge was good but it looks out of place. if you could have made it like you did but make it drop from the headliner by the piller that would have be a first.

but props and hope to see more pics when your lights are done

Not trying to be a dick but PVC pipe does not belong in the car. Thats just plain ghey.

The color change on the HVAC controls is cool though.

Welcome to the site mr negativity. Its called the DIYr. :thumb:

I would suggest a little fiberglass to make it flow more. Its not hard to do IF you decide to make it a little more sleek. Overall good project though. My boost gauge is stuck in my AC vent and I was unsure where to mount it permanently. IMO its dumb to pay $30USD for a gauge pod they are cheap and no different than a piece of PVC.

Good Work
