Got some pics of the piston that went out. I also found out that 3 main bearings and 2 rod bearings went out. If i drove for anymore or any harder I would've said bye bye to the block.

If the ends of those rings didn't finish-off your block, I'll be very surprised.

That amount of damage probably occured in about six seconds.

What caused the burn down? Way to lean, timing or bad gas?

detonation. Ran boost too high and just own stupidity thinking my motor could hold 20+ lbs of boost (dont how much boost realy cuz I pinned the guage). This piston is going to be sitting on my desk forever, the other ones are gonna be ash trays

atleast now It gives me a chance to rebuild the motor to race specs. 3,000 dollars for full rebuilt engine with lots of nice parts.

yea, 3 grand you wouldnt have had to spend.... the scraping on the side of the piston almost insures the block to be ruined....but rofl, nice...

very funny Nop actually the block is going to be bored .30 over std main/rod bearings.If u want to be an ass and tell me that I wouldnt have to spend it. Well why not If I dont spend it here the money will go probably to my girlfriend or something stupid. Now that I think about it I never really got pissed off when it happened.
