i always thought they were supposed to be spaced out evenly. i must be thinking of something else though....is that what everyone elses looks like? just curious!

by the way, i love how they re-did the forums and stuff. massive props guys. i bet it took some time. :thumb:

I like how you just say 'its a TDO5H' LOL

what do you mean? by the way, i realize that it is CLEARLY stamped on the housing....i just didn't know what else to say.....so the 16G is the one with the evenly spaced "fins"?

thanks guys... :thumb:

Zoom out and take a picture of the whole turbo.
Then someone can honestly judge for you if it's a big16g or small16g.
The only way to tell the difference between a big or small is to take the compressor housing off and measure the compressor wheel exducer diameter and compare it to the list here.

Lucky bastards... with my luck it will be, "You mean I have Crankwalk and I didn't even know it?"

umm is it me or is this like the 2nd or 3rd account of people on these forums finding out they have a 16g when they didnt even know it?

gosh daym, i think i should go out and take a couple snap shots at my engine bay and post it one here, then you guys tell me what i have that i didn't know of too, ok? im hoping i have an HKS bov, 550 or 650 injectors, greddy FMIC, 20g turbo, 255 fuel pump, oh just stuff like that, that i hopefully didn't know about. but honestly, daym i wish i was more like this guy.

i guess i would feel lucky too if i didn't know that my car had a big 16g on it b4 i bought it, but i guess i do feel lucky that i bought my car with a 16g on it though, the only uncool thing is that i knew about it.

i thought the compressor housing looked a little too shinny when i bought the car. i never really thought anything of it though, until just recently when i was tearing the whole car apart to drop my tranny out (damn 2nd gears anyways...) and when I pulled off my intake and MAS i got curious and saw the weird blades. I always thought they were supposed to be evenly spaced so that's why i posted this thread. thanks for your help! :thumb:

and if it makes you feel better i cant use my newly found goody because the tranny is torn out. thanks again guys.
