Ok, the 90 TSI AWD, that was sitting for over a year was finally running, but only for a day, the wheels locked up as i was driving, im not exactly sure if it was just the back wheels or all four, however, when i would try to take off, the engine would bog, even in Reverse, when the towtruck driver was putting it on the flatbed, the wheels rotated as he hauled it up, so they werent LOCKED, but enough to where the engine couldnt force them to move. Also, when it got off the truck, it was good to pull up to a garage, driving, so if forced to move, it will drive for a very short time before locking up again. Is this the Center Differential in the Tranny? I didnt know AWD dsms had so many Differentials, i only knew of the rear diff, and the transfer case. but i hear there is 3 total. Another Question i have is i have my Fuel pressure set to 38-39 psi idling,. When under boost it goes up to around 50-55 (somewhere around there, i dont exactly recall), is that normal for the fuel pressure to jump up like that under full throttle? Also i dont want to push too much boost incase i blow something...I got a Walbro 255HP, Aeromotive FPR, Dejon Tool MBC1, K&N Filter, Free mods such as the paper silencer out of the Intake and honeycomb. I got a boost and fuel pressure guage, what would be the highest i could set the boost without risking damage? And is 38 psi where i want to leave the fuel pressure? I know its alot of questions but its like a months worth of thining and i want to get them all answered at once...Thanks again

would low fluid in the transfer case or diff make it just stop without much warning....

Id say, the wheels locking are more inportant at the moment. Have you tried checking all the fluids as you mentioned. Thats always a good idea, considering you said its been setting for a while. Also consider this, whens the last time you had your fluids changed. Check your levels and let us know.

My friends 91 locked up the same exact way. It was a leaky seal on the output shaft in the t-case and all four wheels locked up. It could be pulled, somewhat, but not driven. The t-case took the tranny and rear out with it.
