I'm just wondering if this is right?

A friend can't help no more cause of work. so I'm pretty much on my own and another cousin that's a mechanic but not around all the time.

So oil pump gasket is bolted on with new gasket. With shaft elimination kit but can't seem to find the castle plug anywhere near here.

I bolted off the a/c uni off the back of the block since I'm not gonna use it. All line were snapped off (previous owner before me did it I assume.)

So I kind of bolted all the pulleys enough so I can look and ask if these were all the gears? Pulleys that I would need to bolt on before I get the belts on.

Just wondering if I'm going in the right direction before I drop in the motor and bolt them to the motor mounts?
I took off the harness of the 90 GS-T as well and is already clipped on there as well as the ECU.

Please help before i go farther and mess it up.

You're missing a small pulley that goes behind the middle pulley on the water pump. The small pulley you're missing drives the power steering pump. Before you install the engine, I highly recommend you install the timing belt because it's more difficult to do with the engine in the car.

The pulley looks like this:

Isn't that the one in front of the oil pump?

I don't have any extra pulleys/wheels, just the one from the oil pump but I took them off since the shaft elimination kit.

Just put in the timing belt right? not time it?
I wanted to put in the block first and connect every cable hose and all then bolt on the head.
after that i would time it. But still thinking of paying someone to do my timing that knows DSMs. I don't want to mess it up since I've took so much time to do this swap.

Oh yeah, do it that way then. I didn't know it was a shortblock. You need that black pulley in the picture I linked you to, the pully itself is sitting top of the rear main cover in that picture.
You don't need the idler pulley you have bolted on the oil pump. You only need that if you have balance shafts, coat the threads of a smaller bolt and screw it in it's place. If you any other questions, read this tutorial:

Balance Shaft Eliminator Kit Install

In addition, you are missing at least two bolts for the oil pump/front casing, not including the 4 bolts for the oil filter housing or the 2 bolts for the timing belt tensioner. You are missing the castle plug which you definitely need, use a new o-ring as well. The oil pump timing sprocket is missing, though I believe you know that; in any case, you need it for the timing belt. The metal plate between the balance shaft crank sprocket and the timing belt crank sprocket looks bent enough to wreak havoc with your timing belt; straighten that edge out as best you can.

If you don't have A/C, you don't need either the tensioner bracket towards the right in the picture held on with three bolts, has the long vertical bolt with small rectangular piece on the bottom of it, and it looks like it is stamped "3190", or the mounting bracket on the firewall side of the block. Save some weight by removing them as well.

Personally, I would put the head on and do the timing belt with the engine outside of the car. You wouldn't believe how much easier it makes the job.

Ok well I'm still not super sure on how to do the timing belt.
I got the Haynes manual and some other book about the 4g6's
I'm going to go off and do my best today till I get a mechanic to time it good.

I'm gonna go off this on the wheels/pulleys/belts and see how it goes.

So got I got around and was able to get it how its suppose to be, but now looking on how to do the timing belt correct. Is it a easy job I can do or should I pay someone?

Here's how it should look like right?

As far as the belts go, make sure you don't have the water pump pulley on backwards: Clear pic showing proper direction for out water pump pulley to go on?. If you have power steering, you'll need to remove the alternator belt to put that one on. Other than that, everything looks to be in order.

As to the timing, there is no way for any of us to tell with the crank pulley installed. ASSuming the crank marks are lined up, the camshafts are definitely off.
