phantom knock when turning

I was having really bad phantom knock all the time. My lifters were tapping bad. So I installed 3g lifters and that took care of most of it. But I noticed I'm still getting PK, mainly when I turn and step on the gas. Well I found my harmonic balancer was almost completely seperated. It was making noise so I checked it and... I was wondering if that could cause the PK when I'm turning.
