hey guys just moved to edmonton so im new to the area just wondering if anyone out there knows of a good performance parts store in the area thanks

What are you looking for? Mopac has limited products for talons and dsms. For example, BC 280 cams they list around 500. I did some looking on line and can find better brand cams for cheaper, with shipping. If you dont mind wait times for shipping youll probably find better deals on line

i just need a mls head gasket and arp head studs dont really have time to wait i wanna get the car up and running before i head back to camp

You know man, I find with the limited selection of parts locally here in edmonton, you might as well get used to ordering the stuff you want from a good online store. Besides priority shipping is pretty quick (2-3 days) but costs you about 25-30% more than the listed prices. I've had good luck with MAperformance, MachV, and a couple others.

For oem parts and supplies I use NAPA, partsource or the dealership.

JBs power center has catalogues but they will just order the stuff also, might take longer

if you use the vendors in the marketplace, MAP(modern automotive performance) ships lightning fast. bought bearings on monday, to my door in edmonton thursday. got 650cc injectors within 3 days as well. fastest shippers i've found, ebay included.
for local oem parts, i use I @ M import car parts. they find me all my gaskets and seals and they find the best price for me.
mopac is good for generic parts but i've gotten copper exhaust gaskets and arps for the 4g63 there, and in stock. they got fuel pumps, boost stuff, fab stuff etc. jb's doesn't compare.
used to be a place call ZIPPY's automotive and he specialized in dsm, but he sold it to some nascar fan and i don't trust them anymore.
ebay works great too.

I just received in the mail a Magnus intake, 6 days to get to me Any parts that ive looked at from local stores would take more time due to it not being stocked and its a special order since its for a 4g63. And with shopping on line you can usually find good prices and have a way larger selection
