The 4-1 header is ready, we have some rough pics up on the site ( www.punishmentracing-na.com ) . I'll have some better pics up tomorrow (battery dead on the digital).

I'll have a price ready tomorrow.

WOOOOOO HOOOOOOO!!! If i didnt just get scammed out of 450.00 bucks on ebay for a ported and polished head you would allready have my order!

Any driving impressions before/after, etc?

*EDIT*

I just looked at the pics on the web site, and holy SH!T its beautiful!!!

Wow, that does look extremely better then the pacesetter header. Hopefully your not asking $400  Why a 4-1 design? Easier fabrication? Whats it contructed of? The pipes look huge compared to the pacesetter, and the flange is much thicker :thumb: , If I wasnt selling this dam car, (to buy an AWD) I'd def. be purchasing one of these to replace the pacesetter piece. I garantee with a low cost (such as pacesetter's), you'll be selling the crap outta these things, just gotta get your name out more. :talon:

Was it a California guy that scammed you? We have a very famous one here in SoCal. If it's him, we can give you the lowdown. I'm sure there's people out here that would be happy to help you if so.

Holy shit.. yea it was...

He had payment sent to Las Vegas though even though his addy is in SoCal.

This the guy? He has scammed tons of people so it probably is. Bastard had perfect feedback when I bought and then the next day it had dropped down to 91.7% and he was no longer a registered user.

Yeah, that's outside of San Diego. Our infamous Manny Alves lives down in San Diego. This may be a friend of his or maybe not. Go to the yahoo socal club dsm group and post what happened to you there. Folks might be able to give you a hand. I hate ####ers like that. Here's the link to the SoCal DSM group on yahoo: http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/SoCal_DSM/ .

I got a phone number for ya if yo don't have one. I searched on Car Domain and he was listed there. Same address. His phone is (619)258-0762 . I don't know whether it's valid or not. It's worth a try.

Oh, he owns a custom auto body shop called 4playcustoms.

Good luck.

ok first off thats not my number,
Second, my brother listed some shit and flaked on sending it.
Third had over 30 feedback with no negetives, so obviously I am a honest person.
Fourth, If any of u have been "scammed" by me or I owe u money or a head,
PM me ur info and a #item number so I can take care of this.

I dont ripp off or scam people. so let me know so I can deal with this. I'm not in SD anymore, and I never hung out with any DSM guys, they all hate me cause I converted my 90 eclipse to look like a integra.

Thank you.
Chad

He said IF i didn't get scammed. Yes you do have to be careful of buyin on ebay BUT usually if you buy of a company on ebay everything is fine, it's when buying from a regular person that you might get scammed.

Pay through paypal & you have a better chance of getting your money back if you do get screwed. IF you do purchase through a private regular person then just make sure they have a high rating (i never, ever buy from anyone with less than a 90% for companies since they are supposed to be getting reviews by purchasers)

THe only reason I had him pay other then paypal is, I'm trying to get the shop open here in vegas. I had a bill due two days after the purchase of his head and paypal takes 3 business days to transfer.

no dude he said he did get scammed

4playcustoms... wheres the head then?

I talked to the guy. He is a real nice guy. I belive that he is good on his word and will ship the head when it arrives to him. So hopefully I havent been scammed, and I dont feel scammed so far.

If he comes through for me it'll be all good. So give'em a break. At least until a head shows up on my doorstep.

I still get my heads from SD, so I'm waiting on the shipment, he'll have it next week, the guy has been busy I guess, but I have 7 heads coming all different stages.

So he will have it and any others that u guys know please have them contact me. I want this dealt with.

I don't know if anyone said this yet but... what about an intake that looks just like a front mount intercooler, one with place for us to put on one of them aem air bypass valves for when it rains really bad... also, a computer plug in that we can turn on and off for better air/fuel ratio, like on is for racing style, and off is for daily driving... I think alot of us need to get something that cuts out our rev limiters and fuel cuts... It is also really hard to find stuff like a projector style headlight for a 90-94 dsm... It seems everything nice looking exterior wise is for a 2g dsm, and I think they would look just as good if somehow they could be ported to fit a 1g dsm. I have a ton of other ideas, but they are just that, and I am not sure if everyone agrees with me on the ones I just posted either.

you just said in another thread you didnt have a rev limiter??

when you buy a new ECU, such as get one done by Jet for my car, unless you tell them to take off the revlimiter when they redo your ECU for you, they add it, why, because they aren't really sending you back your own ECU, its just one they finished before, how do you think they get them done so fast... plus the name of the thread is performance parts for all non turbo cars... get rid of the rev limiter so that people who can drive like myself and others around my area can shift way into redline, I hit my fuel cut by shifting in every gear at 4 grandish, that always set me up on the highways to shift into the next gear at around 3 grand, which on my car is the max torque (which is the tug you feel off the line aka acceleration) so when I hit 5th, I just floored it and about a mile down the road I was at about 120 and I know its the fuel cut because it wouldn't go up any higher in revs like it does every other gear and it wouldn't go any faster, even when i downshifted to 4th and put it into redline... and amazingly yes, no damage to my engine... my engine is well maintained thanks to my brother being a mechanic.

how do you hit fuel cut at 4k rpms? and how does being able to drive like you allow you to go way into the redline? it wouldnt serve a purpose since you hit your peak horsepower at like 6700 rpms. why would you want to go any higher?

Besides, he isn't even hitting fuel cut. It's a n/a dsm. He's running out of air. If he hit fuel cut, he'd think he broke his car. The only reason you would want to remove the rev limiter is if you had a built engine and reworked head. Then, you'd move your power band up way higher so you would need to be able to rev to 9000. But, usually if you're doing that then you're using a complete ECU replacment instead of something from JET.

well, ive hit it, and i didnt think it was broken i just thought i was a retard for not paying attention. but ya, the only reason you need to raise it is if you have high end cams and all the goods build on your engine. i really dont understand what that guys talking about at all.

Actual fuel cut is fairly abrupt. While I was exaggerating a little, it is a fairly sudden experience. I've also been trying to figure him out myself and really can't. That's ok.

ya i can almost hear when my engine hits peak horspower, cuz around 6900 it starts to make a different noise, then JERK JERK JERK... OH SHIT!! haha you just feel your car jerk a bit and stop accelerating. when i first hit it i was afraid i ruined something. i also was afraid i fried something when i hit it with nitrous OMG but it isnt as bad as it sounds or feels.

he is probably right about the not having enough air part, thats why I am rigging a turbo dsm's stock intake onto my car with some modification to it so it fits, but it will increase my 80mm air inlet to 180... more than double... but I do intend to really modify this NT engine... I just like to make it so that i can do future stuff to my car, such as an ECU with no fuel cut or rev limiter. So that if I modify it later to be able to hit them, they aren't there to hit.
