Anyone know where I could get strong aftermarket axles being that I need to replace mine. How much do these things usually run$$$?

I know Raxles makes high performance axles and I'm pretty sure Fidanza does to. As far as price, I don't know, but it's something to look into.

Fidanza's axles say they are rated at 300hp, is that all they can handle or am I misunderstanding?

Well, Raxles.com is definatily an option. Fidanza's are only made for 1G turbo's and 2G N/T's. Us 2G turbo guys dont apply. Driveshaft Shop probably has a nice set, but the price is probably a little salty.

I'm almost sure that Fidanza's ratings are per axle. Meaning 300 per cv shaft and up to a 600 HP car. I could be wrong but I think that's how it is.

EDIT: I just read through my Fidanza catalog. It says "Each CV Shaft has a rating of 300 HP."

At Raxles.com they don't relly show any pictures, specs, or prices. I guess the only thing to do is call?

The factory axles should be strong enough for just about any streetable application aslong as you dont have really bad wheelhop. Wheelhop is whats breaking your factory ones and it will break aftemarket ones just as well.

Well, my factory axles are shot so I was just going to replace them with better ones. I have polyurethane motor mount inserts so wheel hop is not a big issue. Your right Nanan, thanks, I'll talk to my buddies at O'reilys and Autozone and they will give me their price on them and I'll get whichever one's cheaper. Thanks again guys.

EDIT: I just read through my Fidanza catalog. It says "Each CV Shaft has a rating of 300 HP

so that means it can hold up to a 600hp car right??? not that ill ever see 600hp but its good to know i have that option

don't know about aftermarket but replacement axles for a 2g awd fronts are $120 from raxles. (thats each)

Raxles wont quote any hp b/c they are not tested. Drive shaft shop for there level 5 (750hp) are $1600 , level 4 (500hp) i beleive is like $850. Anyone know someone that has axles that'll hold around 600hp for a reasonable price? Need to get a pair soon.

drive shaft shops level 4 axles are $699.99. that doesnt include shipping or tax (if there is any)
