people who have swapped 7-bolt to 6-bolt

I was thinking of swapping my block since i plan to do a stroker kit and well i wanted to know if those who have swapped the 7-bolt for a 6-bolt, did you swap the entire engine or the block?
Would it be easier to swap the block or the engine?

I can get a complete engine for $750 but i'd still have to change oil pump, timing components, water pump and all gaskets, what would you do?

i mean would just getting the block be more cost effective??

I've had friends who have swapped in a new block and built it and built a 6 bolt head, and it has run into many thousands. Then there are others who have just swapped in like 60 or 70k complete 6 bolts they got for a grand and put it in themselves. If you can find a good complete 6 bolt thats a good price just go with that and later on down the road if you feel the need for more power or your motor is wearing out you can always rebuilt it.
