I researched a lot and people say the GR-2 strut will be ok with my Eiback Prokit. Just want people that have this set up to let me know how they like the ride and how long have the struts lasted with the prokit. Any info would be appreciated.

Ok ok you are right im horrible. I seached GR-2 and found a few but I was at work so I made the thread. Thanks man. I like the emphasis on the lazy part.

Yeah, this discussion has been held many times before. I know because I've given my input a number of times. Just search for "GR2" (or GR-2) and "Prokit" together, you'll find tons of info.

I used to have AGX's with Prokits and the ride was okay, but they failed about a year later. I got some GR2's to replace them (because I was strapped for cash at the time) and used them with the prokits for about two years, but drove the car way less in that time. I switched over to Ground Controls from the Prokits a while later. I just recently scrapped the GR2's as they were on their way out. I put in some Konis and don't know why I didn't just save the money to have done it right in the first place. I would have saved myself time, work, and money in the long run. For the price you'll pay for 2 sets of shocks that will probably fail (and time to install them), you can get a set of Konis that are better designed for a lowered vehicle and are by far a better product.

If you're absolutely in a bind and need some cheap shocks now and don't have the cash for Konis, do the GR2's, that's what I had to do. But don't expect them to be any better than a stock replacement, and go in with the mindset that they'll be temporary. And save up for the Konis later.

See thats what I was looking for. I did search and everyone said it was ok to do. Now you say this. I hope they last at least two years or more. My drop is barely noticable since i have so much weight striped out. I hope im ok because I already ordered the struts.
