Replaced the master cylinder and slave cylinder and adjusted the master cylinder accordingly. Now a couple hundred miles later the pedal is going to the floor and now my engagement point is near or dead on the floor sometimes. I have no idea what's going on. Doesn't look like any signs of leaking. It was bled properly. Now what? Please help thanks for reading!
 
I would check the slave cylinder, when one goes out the other usually follows within a month or two at most, that's why I always replace them as a pair. I learned to buy lifetime warranty parts so now i just go trade them in yearly for new ones pretty much

Everything was replaced at the same time.

I would start by re-bleeding it... Look at the master cylinder from the inside the car, is it at all wet?

Did you use OEM parts?

But fix this before too long, because you will destroy your synchros!

Like I said in the post. Doesn't show signs of leaking but that doesn't mean it's not I guess.
 
hmmm...is your bird cage bad?? The pedal system on 1g's are known to have issues, there's something in the set of linkages that wears and has to be welded or rebuilt.. Did the clutch slowly get this way over time, like just getting engagement close and closer to the floor over the years??? or was it all the sudden one day?

I have had an issue happen 2 times where mine was bled well and working and it was after some replacing of parts and somewhere (i think in the plastic "fluid in" piece on the top of the master cylinder, there must have been trapped air, because sure enough out of no where mine did what yours is but a simple bleeding revealed some more air was in the line and fromthe amount of fluid it took to get to it, the air had to have been trapped in or nbear the master... These can be a bi***.. bleeding is cheap might as well try it...

Aslos bleed the slave by pushing in on it and opeing the bleeder, the tighten the bleeder and let off, as it returns to normal it will suck in a lot of fluid, but air gets trapped in an area of the slave that's hard to get out any other way.. another thing i like to do is bleed it at the banjo bolt too.. just have it pumped like normal and held down, then loosen the banjo a tad until fluid seeps out and tighten it back before the fluid rush stops.. I have to do this on motorcycle frontbrakes a LOT because of the way some of them have a second line joining the two sides together that loops up and overthe wheel

thanks for the info man I will have to give that a try. (bleeding the banjo bolt)
