Hey all,

Quick question, my clutch pedal goes to the floor after a clutch job. New TB and fork with very low miles OEM exedy replacement kit

I never disconnected any clutch lines however while I was doing the job, the slave rod feel off. Not sure if that matters?

Should i be worried the exedy clutch kit is not the right one? Ill try bleeding the system tomorrow.

Any pointers appreciated,

Assuming the fork lies in the window in the correct position then the problem lies in the hydraulics. Where does the fork lie?
Yes, I visually verified the positon of the fork in relation to the window. It's ever so slightly offset to the driver side. I did get my flywheel resurfaced, and when i measured the step height with a quality caliper (starret), i was reading .610 exactly. However, being limited to just a caliper and no true flat bar, i was only able to measure the edge of the step and not along the center. I'll provide a picture tmr if the weather permits.

Additional behavior info: the pedal has no resistance. I can do some quick half pumps with my hand, and build some pressure/resistance. After a quick pause, resistance is lost again. Perhaps this could give more insight.

Your assumption with the problem being with the hydraulics based on behavior was mine as well. But because I didn't disconnect any of the lines, I'm second guessing myself on this. It does make the most sense... but it dosnt :/

I'll give her a bleed next time I'm able to work on her.

Thanks

Doesn't matter. Bleed it and adjust it.

Try bleeding the slave. Top off the reservoir, remove the bleeder, push the slave all the way in, hold it closed then reinstall the bleeder and tighten it down while the slave stays closed then release the slave and do it again.

I did it while the slave was on the trans so I pushed the fork to close it. It’s messy but that’s what worked for me.

Resolved. Bled the line. Adjustment at the pedal wasnt neccesary but adjusted to my taste. Thanks all
