! you mad because our 95-96's are always smiling? At least those without the 97 conversion. About the 1g head/2g head: if you are planning on using the 1g intake manifold and throttle body, i'd stick with the 1g head as well. (if we're talking sticking to a budget and getting the best out of each model). 2g's are just as good, but require porting of the 1g intake manifold.

In my opinion I think the 95-96 are the ugliest of all DSM's. The 1GA are just Badass. Even my girl friend thinks that 2G's look like a girls car. It's all a matter of opinion anyway but what the hell the 1Gs design and style are timeless. To me the 2G is just starting to look like last decades style. Now if you haven't got anything under the hood it doesn't matter what car you drive anyway. By the way the fastest stock block DSM's run 1G pistons by the way, and a 1G Head. Lower compression more boost. Less knock easier to tune.
