LOL! you mad because our 95-96's are always smiling? At least those without the 97 conversion.

About the 1g head/2g head: if you are planning on using the 1g intake manifold and throttle body, i'd stick with the 1g head as well. (if we're talking sticking to a budget and getting the best out of each model). 2g's are just as good, but require porting of the 1g intake manifold.

1988 was the beginning of the 4G63-- ore to build the first lancers was just beign harvested.

Lower compression more boost. Less knock easier to tune.
P.S. Who ever said Hondas have great transmissions. If my DSM had only 95 horsepower it would probably last longer as well. :talon:

Now i dont like my front end, but it sure as hell isnt as hideous as yours... no offense. :thumb:

BTW: Honda transmissions are better, by a longshot.
 
Getting back to the point at what parts are better to use, in my opinion it is a lot easier to run a full 1G head and intake manifold with 1G throttle body with and I hate to say it a 2G throttle body ELBOW. A 1G head will outflow an untouched 2G head easily, unless you go to FFWD connection hand them 6 grand and tell them you want the DEATH head which I wouldn't even call it a 2G head after what they do to it. Go to every site that builds those heads and you won't see but one or two offering stages of 2G heads. plus you can get a 1G head for nothing like 150 bucks!! I have 2 friends with 2G's and both run a full 6 bolt motor with 1G head and intake manifold. :talon: :thumb:

IMHO, of course.

The 1g is a tuff lookin car especialy done right.
but the 2g is a little soft one the eyes or CUTE :tease: as my girlfriend puts it!

I just can't get over the 1gs stupid vents on the side, I know there functional, but I don't know maybe you guys like them, kinda like how every kid with a civic and a wing thinks it's the bomb-diggity too. :sneaky:
 
come on guys lets not fight about 1gs and 2gs, we all know it goes like this

talons are for boys (you know the tough looking car)

eclipse are for girls (the cute ones! te he)

haha i better get out of here :p
