i am upset...looks just like my car, mine is just no were near as sick as your was, im sorry man....do what everyone is saying and fight it for at leats 10k and still keep the car, there are parts that can be used, we all know that.

Yeah, I was wondering what ever came out of this also. You said you live in the Houston Area? You know they can afford to give you the true value of your car. Why should you be the one taking the loss when your are not at fault. And you could have sold your car for well over 10k. The city is hoping you will roll over on this and go for the 6k. Do not let them push you around like this. The reason they get away with shit like this, is because no one fights it. Hope things went well.

It doesn't help that I work 60 hours a week and have no time to deal with this sh1t.

Not sure if you meant to come off like you don't care,and its not that I'm heartless and don't feel your pain,but what the hell do you mean you don't have time to deal with it man?
You had time to do all the work to it so I would damn sure make time to get it right.60 hour weeks are tiring but nowhere near that tiring.
