Take it to a lawyer, claim it as a custom built car. Let them know there are only about 4-5 in the world built this way.

However, I'm going to play devils advocate. Well, given we can't see the damage on the drivers side, but from what I would expect in that incident, I'd bet 6K would cover repair of the car. Just because it got damaged, doesn't mean you're entitled to get it totaled and full cost of the car in cash. They will repair it if possible. Likely, 6K covers it.
Did your insurance company total it?

Wow that's just horroble. Just another thought, I don't know if people have sold these before, but if you can find what price an AWD Spyder sold for you might be able to use that to show them. I assume it would be pretty high.
