Have been recently having problems with how my trans shifts. Its a complete dog from a stop, even with it floored, like its in 2nd gear? But will shift once I get going, but will randomly downshift, then upshift. Very Odd

Now I go out to start my car and back it out, and the car won't turn over. Nothing. Kinda like its in drive and you're trying to start it.

From what I've gathered, I got a code "transmission range sensor circuit", and its an actual sensor on the transmission? Would that be causing the car to now not start, if the car thinks its in drive?

i saw that, but at that time the car would still start / run. Now it isn't starting randomly. Is the park switch located on the top of the trans kind of under the fuse box / IC piping?
