Whats up ive ben on here a while but i havent really posted anything. I see that alot of people run palm m100. I never understood what they do. Can anybody explain it for me? thanks

It is used as a datalogger. The m100 is pretty much the bottom line model. You need the m100, datalogger software, and the cable. It will tell you the info that the ecu is seeing. Airflow, rpm, battery, knock (1gonly) and much more.

Alot of people run them because it is a cost effective PDA [very cheap] and has all the features needed [required palm OS version ] to run the 1G or 2G data logging programs. [ MMCD for 1Gs, or Pocketlogger for 2Gs is quite common ] . You get the PDA, cable, and logging software and can view alot of items to know what your engine is doing [ ignition timing advance, various temps, 02 volt readings, knock on 1Gs etc etc ]

Useful when troubleshooting CEL codes, or checking to see if an SAFC tune is safe.
