Painting my enkei's. Advice, emblems, tips.

I finally got the pair of Enkei's I've been looking for. They're the 5 dual spoke ones off a Evo 9 SE. I am gonna spray bomb them to paint them. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on keeping the emblems? I doubt I can but it's worth a shot. I've spray painted many things. And understand time put in equals better results. I've never painted anything with multiple surfaces before though. I cleaned the gel out of them now do I just spray away or is more prep required? Thanks guys.

You can always buy new emblems.

Are you referring to the Enkei decals? If to scrape them off with a razor blade and buy new decals to apply after the painting. I painted my Evo 8 Enkeis and that is what I did. I got the new decals on ebay. I went with all white since the rims are black now.

Did you rattle can yours? Mine are clean as hell but Was wondering if you guys just sprayed or what other prep work was due?

Rob over at Overnight Decals From Japan helped me out and gave me a cheap price on decals for my Enkeis. I would e-mail him.

I would just have them powdercoated professionally but just my opinion.

Yes, I spray painted mine. They need to be lightly sanded and thoroughly cleaned first.
