ok...just to clarify. you guys are talking epoxy adhesives or any type of resins...(there are ALOT that dont yellow. mis info is a bad thing...only the cheapest of epoxies yellow, assuming they do. i'm taking your word for it. ive never worked with any epoxies that have yellowed on me. i dont know what products you were using..stick to anything half way decent and you shouldnt have that problem with adhesives...)

now epoxy primers are a completely different thing...again...apples and oranges. epoxy primers are primers that alot of people should know more about. theyre exactly what the name suggests. a primer with an adhesive quality. they 'stick' to the surface they are applied to with a chemical bond. and typically theyre pretty expensive.

on top of an epoxy primer you spray a surfacer. this is the stuff 95% of people out there go str8 to. body shops skip epoxy primers cuz its more work for them and costs more money. surfacers dont adhere to surfaces as well as epoxy primers and is why shops always tell you they cant gaurentee their work. you get those little stone chips from using only surfacers. this is the stuff in 99% of spray can primers. its most often grey or peach colored.

black primers that you see on these..geez what do you call em? 'unda constukshun show cars' are 99% of the time CHEAP spray can jobs and suck as far as a good primer goes. surfacers have to be a lighter color for you to do a good block sand. stay away from black primers unless you just want your car to look 'tite'

so again...stop saying epoxy primers yellow. it doesnt matter if theyre painted over or not.

Used some Krylon red frosted glass finish, followed by a couple coats of clear on my beaters taillights today.98 Talon conversion coming soon along with alot of other stuff.

I had mine done up like that, except I didn't clear them and they started to fade after a year or 2...

I think the centerpiece looks better unpainted. Looks good either way, though.

On that WHITE 2gB I would paint the black, Behind and around your lisence plate, White... To match your car. We did it on my friends 2gb talon and it looks really good. Everyone notices it suprisingly.

That white 2g"B" believe it or not Was this. We traded for the car I have in my avator. He did a real nice job on the white car. But anyways when I had it I did the ssame thing, but the only thing was. I Broke mine.. Cant remember how.

I think the center-piece would looks better painted on the 2GB Talon. I painted my tails about two years ago and they haven't faded yet, I used some RC model paint.
