Thanks all.. this is only the third time I've painted rims. Lol.

I used some triple coat clear glaze that adds a "mirror like" illusion.

Sorta back from the dead but do you guys think I should just go ahead and powdercoat them all black? Don't seem to be holding up too well in this heat. Although I can go out and spend 5 bucks and have them looking like new again.

you could try some high temp paint.

Are you talking about the paint chipping or discolouration? Rims don't get that hot, normal pain *shouldn't* be affected by climate temps. Is the original paint still on there, or did you strip it?

I stripped it. That paint on the inside of the spokes is rubbing off. I can rub some off w/ my finger and it lost it's shine. Completely dull on the inside of the spoke.

how did you prep? we prepped my friend's accord rims right and they've lasted him 3 good months now with no chipping

my suggestion? take 2 days off and resand the biatches.
