This is my first time ever trying something like this. My ream passenger tire was ready to blow and since I drive 65 to school and back I really needed it changed. So on my day off yesterday I went to the junk yard. As soon as you walk in is the tire section, and right there were tires that had the same dimensions as my stock swirlys, and the tread was amazing on them. The only downside was that they were a nasty gold color. So I bought them, then took them home, sanded them down and repainted them. I just wanted to share it with you guys. Sadly Im going to be selling them, because after I did all the painting, I went to put them on and the bolt holes were a tad bit closer together my stock set up. So I have to wait to get my new tires transferred to my old rims. But here are the pics.
