I used the Dupli-Color kit and they came out really nice. I put 5 coats on the front and 4 on the rear

Next I want to paint my rims, but I dont know if I should go gold or gloss black

I'm a fan of gold, but the black would prob. look better on your car, since its black and red.
 
Definitely go with black rims. I think it would make your freshly painted calipers stand out even more!
 
or Black calipers with Bronze/gold wheels.

the dupi color is good stuff. i put a few coats of black on my calipers over a year ago and it's stayed on pretty good
