well i just wanted to see how the wheelw ould look flat black with the polished lip so i litterly just sprayed krylon outdoor flat black paint directly onto the wheel, just made sure it was clean. I am not going to put the wheels on the car like that, i am actually going to plastidip the wheels since it will be a 100 times more durable and resistant to any damage. I will post pictures of the wheels once they are plastidiped. As far as the center caps go, i sanded them down since the paint didn't want to stick that well to the cap, other than that there was pretty much 0 prep work involved. Sprayed maybe 7-10 coats on it, with less than 2 minutes in between each coat since the paint drys extremely fast. Not to mention i had an air line i was using lightly to successfully speed up drying time for each coat.
