Paint Resperator for kids?

I'm very calm. I just don't involve myself in cheap stores.

A few points - respirators have to be fit tested by a qualified person. There's no such thing as 'growing into a mask.' It either fits and seals on your face, or it doesn't. On the boat we have half face respirators for working (painting/sanding) and full face respirators and suits for our WMD bags. We've used banana oil, and one time we used this foul smoking stick that is guaranteed to make you cough up if you smell it.

But about your kid - it's cool that you want to hang out with him and teach him about cars. I wish I had started out with cars a lot younger. Maybe 2 is a bit too young, but hey, if the kid is big/strong enough to hold a wrench, might as well put him to work, right? Better than running around the neighborhood throwing bricks through windows.

I couldn't have said it better myself! :thumb:

Holy $hit! Tom has a kid?!?!?@!

You guys are being way too hard on a man who only wants to involve his child in his passion. I let my daughter help siphon race gas (since she loves straws so much) and my son is the perfect size to crawl under the car when I'm in a hurry and don't want to get the floor-jack out.

Plus, when you take the genetics into account, is it really going to be a big deal if the little nipper loses a few more brain cells to paint fumes?

ps. a wet paper towel and masking tape works great and has the added benefit of preparing him for interrogation (in case he goes al-Qaeda on you)
Thanks, man. I almost pee'd my pants. LOL

Odds are, then, that it's Israeli, which raises a crucial question: was it used after eating milk or meat? If you guess wrong, then it's not kosher and could very well leak.

ps. the symbol that sort of looks like the logo for WD40 is the sign for milk ... or maybe meat ... it's one of the two.

Like Michael Richards, maybe you should seek a different vocation

Grown man driving a 1990? What's your profession, maybe I'll take up that trade. LOL

Never worked at a car wash before.

Sounds like the op's family breeding plan. To the op your an idiot I would hate for any child to hear that there dad feels stuck with them let alone wanting to paint around them.

Irresponsible f***er driving a 1999 . You need to put your child first . Someday he will not want to be stuck with daddy . Why take the risk ?
