Somewhere in BC,
hey guys when i turn my car on my cel comes on and when i use my palm datalogger it reads code P1105 and says dual alternator upper fault i have no idea what this means or why im getting this :banghead:

Check all the lines and the connector on the fuel pressure solenoid, follow the vacuum line coming off of the regulator at the end of the fuel rail on the driver side, make sure its not a loose connection or frayed wires

I have the same issue!! I cant figure it out, I replace all the vacuum lines, cleaned the connectors and even replaced the FPS. I dont know what else todo???

its getting power and the connection is fine.

does anyone know if the FPS runs to the starter relay?

If you are getting that code I would take your car down and get your alternator tested by Autozone. Almost sounds like the voltage regulator or something in between the alternator and battery. Also can try replacing the alternator relay in the fuse box.

I thought of of that, I'm going to try to clean my terminals, double check my battery ground, and add an extra ground to the battery by adding a ground to my passenger strut bolt...

Iv also considered removing (unplugging) my stereo & amp..

Where can I find a Fuel Pressure Solenoid, I cant find any auto parts store that can get one for me? I have the same issue

There's actually one in the classifieds right now

However, when i got the code p1105 i replaced the fps with one from the classifieds and after i reset the ecu the code still came back. Then recently my car died because i left my headlights on :ohdamn: and when it got jumped no more code :) so this code really is tricky and likes to toy with you. But hopefully replacing the fps works for you.
