Ok so I've searched but couldn't find an answer to this question. I have my boost control solenoid code (p1104) coming up and I need to get my car inspected. The problem is that I don't have a bcs to connect to just get it inspected. I have a manual bc so I don't need it but only to pass inspection.
Does anyone know if there is a way to trick the ecu into clearing the code? I posted in another thread that talked about using a resistor that Steve on here mentioned but he replied saying he didn't think it would work but he wasn't sure, so I decided to start a new thread to get a solid answer. Any help would be much appreciated.
could I wire a different better bcs that would get rid of the code? i have a 98 ecu that I plan on using ceddymods to control boost electronically. I can't remeber if he has that set up yet or when he will
