I was wondering if there are any other problems that could set off a P1104 code than just the BCS being unplugged? I have a pending code and have a "fuel cut" like feel at WOT when I reach about 20lbs of boost. I have inconsistant boost at all levels, and at WOT I get a "fuel cut" like jerk. I can post pics or a video if it is necessary. Thanks ahead of time for the help.

I have searched and searched and it seems that the only sure fire solution has been either plugging in your BCS or wiring some resistor to "trick" the ECU (But mine is already plugged in).
I have read that it could be I giant boost leak, but I idle at about 19 vac on my Boost Gauge.
I have read something about an exhaust leak could cause this? Doesn't make much sense to me, but if this is true, I could have some cracks in my exhaust manifold and I know for a fact that my Tial wastegate gasket is starting to give.
I currently have RC550's in my car that are untuned. I bought the car like this, and have not had time to replace them.

Any more information about my car can be found in my profile.

No, a P1104 is simply a test looking for the coil in a solenoid.

The ECU triggers the solenoids at startup, and looks for an inductive kickback from the solenoid at least 2 volts higher than the battery voltage, or it fails. So, installing a resistor won't work, as it doesn't have an inductive kickback.

The only reason you will fail the test is if the solenoid is bad, the ECU is defective, or the wiring/connections between the ECU and solenoid are faulty. The test can be turned off in the periphery bits easy enough though. ;)
