P0450 Evaporative Emission Control System Pressure Sensor Malfunction - how do I fix it? Replace the whole canister or what?
Thanks

Since it is a sensor malfunction code I would say the Evap. Pressure Sensor went bad. It is around the canister and has a couple vacuum lines plugged into it. If you broke a line or something that would cause it. It's a dealer item only too but you should be able to fix it by plugging it back in or routing some line to go from one nipple to the other.

Thank you. And where exactly can I find the canister? Is it around the gas tank on this car or in the engine bay?

Under the battery.

Well, this is what happened today: took the battery out. NO CANISTER UNDERNEATH IT!!! However, the pressure sensor you spoke about is there (got the two vacuum lines going into it), and next to the sensor there is something like a check valve or something. Then that unit is connected via the vacuum lines with another sonsor looking body, which has some kind of connector on it, and is bolted on the chasis over the throttle body. Now, sorry, but my technical language sucks, but if worst comes to worst, I can take some photos.

My question is, which one of those three do you guys think should be changed? I inspected the lines, they are perfect. The malfunction should bein the parts themselves, but which one? Bump for part numbers so I can call the dealership. I figure each one of those should be around 20-25 bucks.
Thanks

Hm, now I realize that I never mentioned what car we are talking about-a 98 Eclipse GST spyder

Bump, anyone? Can I get a part number? Am I posting this in the wrong section?
Thanks
