95 420a. I’m the second owner of this car and have already replaced spark plug, coil pack, wires, fuel pump, cam/crank sensor. I still get the same code once in awhile. Some days my car is OK driving and some days my car would start to have rough idling then gives me a check engine light for the P0351. It’s random when it happens so I’m not sure if it s a wire that’s open touching another wire or something else. Cleaned out the MAP, intake air temperature and IAC hoping it’d help but no luck. If anyone have any clues please let me know. I also changed my battery not too long ago. Checked with a volt meter to see if alternator is good, running about 13.8 with headlights, ac blast and high beam on. Thought maybe a faulty alternator would affect it.
What I also tried was tugging the pig tail wires for the cam and ignition coil pack to see if it’s js a loose connection while the car is on, no lucks either.
Right now I’m running with Blue streak coil pack, import direct coil wires, NGK copper plugs from oreilly(used to run NGK iridium but I switched to copper for the manufacture recommendation to see any difference as well. Seems about the same)
I’ll smell fuel sometimes so idk if it’s having a proper combustion, car idles at 880
