p0170 code

ok so i need to try and figure out why my check engine light keeps comming on and it reads the p0170 fuel trim code. i dont even know where to start. my bov was venting into atmosphere and i connected a hose to recirculate the air back into the intake because i was told that was the problem... it wasnt, the code still came back on. i took off my intake last night and tried cleaning the MAF and after i did that now my car is idling around 1500 rpms... i heard it could be many different things and my next try was to seafoam it and see if there are any leaks in the vacuum lines but i dont think there are.

also my car burns oil pretty bad.. i just got an oil change like a month and a half ago and it was like a quart and a half low. and there are no leaks. you can deffinately smell the burning oil but i dont see it comming out of my exhaust while idling and i cant see it in the mirror when i drive, but when people drive behind me they can see the bluish tint smoke when i accelerate hard...

any answers? id take anything it will all help.
