So I just got done installing my new turbo and exhaust manifold gasket, redid all my intercooler pipes, and did a free mod to my throttle body that involves screwing in a spring all the way and removing the coolant lines. Went to start my car and it fired right up after a month of sitting. As it was idling , it was a constant rich condition, (not pig rich) but way over on the rich side of the narrowband A/F gauge. It'd idle like that for about 15 seconds, then go way lean and struggle to stay on, but after a few seconds, went back to the rich condition. It does this until the car dies. I thought it was my new ebay piece of crap regulator, as it wasn't showing fuel pressure and was leaking a little. Put on the oem one, same problem but slightly better idle. Threw a p0100 code shortly after. I unplugged the MAS, no change. However the MAS is good? I traced the wires to the ecu as well. I even backprobed the mas and everything checked out okay. I even went as far to rewire up the SAFC 2, still no avail. I don't know what else throws the p0100 code but this is ridiculous . If I press the gas, it goes lean and dies unless I baby it. Anyone have a problem like this before? I've searched two days and found nothing like this.
