 just rebuilt motor put about 1000 miles ago notw burning oil like crazy. pull number one spark plug out covered in oil. any one think i can pull piston out and replace with new oil ring. and or is the block trash now

Just pull it out and change it, but since your there why just change one. You have to buy a ring set for all pistons. I havent heard of chaning one set on one piston, but i could be wrong. I had all mine changed, long ago with the rebuild.

full rebuild new crank new pistons main bearing rod bearing new head. new everything just about. blue smoke car still runs plenty of oil pressure and power althought have got in to it fully. just that one spark plug covered in oil.
