boost gauge not reading and iacv is a p.o.s.

OK I got I'm my talon this morning started to drive away and noticed the stock boost gauge wasn't moving dose any one have any thoughts on why or maybe know where the gauge gets its reading from..... also the idle air control valve keeps going bad according to the obd i have not tested the actual valve i dont have an ohmmeter but I have replaced it three times two Times with used and one time new. But after swapping the part and driving for a few the car bogs and the Electrical goes crazy but stops after 2 or 3 seconds any one know why

Whats the gauge do when you JUST turn the key to the "ON" position, it should center itself...
