toronto,
hey guys, heres my day and my problem. LOL.
I have the mbc set at 10psi. I decide i want 15, so i turn it a few times, but I get no response. I open the mbc up to see that the spring is gone! wtf?? I dont know how that happened. anyways, i get a new spring in there, and try it out. its ripping to like 20psi, very bad! so I figure its way to tight, I loosen it, still 20, loosen it, still 20. If i bypass the mbc completely and run the tee line off the bov to the WGA i get a solid 10 psi, but the car feels like its sluggish.
one more thing to add to all this, which may be important, when I listen carefully at idle i can hear a hiss, when I squeeze the tube coming off the bov tee, the hiss stops, is the key to all my problems?? or is it a dead mbc/spring?
thanks guys

OMG im an idiot, i had it hooked up the wrong way, i hope quick shots of 20 psi didnt hurt my baby

I very much doubt you did any substantial damage to your engine if you took it easy after hitting 20.
