Why Is It Overboosting????

I was wondering why my boost goes all the way up to 20PSI when I put full throttle in 1st and 2nd. I have the stock t-25 and my only mods are a type RS BOV and intercooler piping and the free BCS restrictor mod. If i'am not mistaken the maximum boost on a T-25 is only supposed to go up to 18 PSI. So why is my going to 20 PSI? also it goes up to 20 PSI and then drops back down to 16 PSI. WHY??

i just have a quick q's were on the turbo do you hook this hose up to because the only one on my car close to that is on the J pipe?? so i'm having the same problem and i wanna hook just the wastgate and turbo up and see if i run 10-12 psi and know wether or not its my actuator thats bad or not? b/c i don't have a bcs or a mbc and i spike way up to like 25-30 psi and i normally ran around 14-16 ps?

You can hook a vac line from the J-pipe nipple directly to the wastegate, just make sure you seal up any open holes/nipples if there are any.

good luck with the mbc, and like what was said before, they are very touchy, from 14-24-18 was within 1 turn for me. but dont let that change your mind about getting one, once i set it to 18 it stayed

ah!! not very good timing i'll give it a shot though b/c i don't have that or a bcs so i need one or the other!! and electronic ones are spendy
