hi second time with the same problem. couldnt get it fixed. i have a 95 gsx with a 16g turbo and its overboosting checked my mbc its good changed my internal wastegate, fix the leaks, still does it.. according to the ecmlink im hitting 27psi.. anyone have an idea? did my research couldnt get nothing from it.. thanks in advance

Do you have the 34mm flapper? Thats known to blow open at higher boost. What PSI are you trying to be at?

You might want to try porting or getting an o2 dump, both of those things will help with the creep.

If he had a 34mm he wouldn't be creeping to 27psi as the bigger door would expel more gases than the smaller standard 31mm flapper.
But like rad said, port your turbo to direct the exhaust gases easier to the wastegate outlet or just simply get an external wastegate.

LOL you are right, I wasn't thinking.

Funny question but it seems like you dont have a boost gauge?... I ran dsmlink for a while with the quote "boost pressure" being WAY off from my gauge. Try seeing if your program is set up right, this may be the problem. - Just a thought...

The dsm link in my ecu reads way more than what my actual boost gauge reads must be a common issue. But make sure the vaccum line off your manual boost controller to your wastegate isnt split anywhere, even the smallest crack will cause it to over boost like a sob, just buy a new line and see if it helps at all easiest place to start!

no i havent ported out my turbo.. dont know how that works. how would i do that? and yes i do have a boost gauge as well

what do i need in order to change the internal to the external wastegate ,is it an easy process?

maybe your boost controller might be messed up. that causes overboost sometimes, it happend to mine. check that

check the lines from the wastegate to the boostcroller, my wastegate line broke yesterday and i was overboostin too.
