Just as the title says, I need some opinions. I'm basically at a point between deciding to port the stock 2G exhaust manifold or not. I have my turbo and everything needed. I've installed everything but the turbo and new punishment O2. The only thing holding me up is giving it to a shop to get it ported. I'll probably have to wait 1 to 2 weeks for this to be done, but I really don't wanna. But I've been told that porting it really won't make much difference for my setup.
So my question is, is it worth it when considering spoolup time and overall power to port the exhaust manifold??
My setup:
K & N Intake Filter & 3" Dejon Tool Intake
Megan Racing 3" DP and Catback
Blitz SS BOV
Megan Racing Short Throw Shifter
Symborski Shift Kit
SBR 3500 Clutch
XACT Streetlight Flywheel
ARP Headstuds
Headgasket - Mitsubishi Multilayer
Brian Crower Stage 2 Cams (272/272)
PLX SM-AFR Wideband
Walbro 255 FP (Rewired)
AFPR Kit
FIC 850 Injectors
DSMLink
XS Power FMIC Kit
PTE 5031RLE
38mm Tial WG
Punishment Racing MS Polished O2 Housing (Rerouted for 38mm TIAL)
SPAL Slimline AC Fan 12"
