Isn't AGP's manifold or the SFP manifold already coated with some sort of protective material? RNR do your turbos differ at all from AGP's? Particularly the 50 trim with 0.63 a/r since that is the turbo I am intrested in? Also RNR, what type of oiling system comes with your kit? Is there any other stuff you recommend buying when getting this kit like a inline oil filter? Thanks for all the responses I didn't think this thread would turn out near as good as it did.

I have the AGP RS49 (50 trim) on my 97 GS-T and I have to say I love it it bolt's right up to the stock exhaust manifold my only thing about it is if you go internal wastegate there acutator is kind of weird and hard to hook up if you have a stock 02 housing , other then that the turbo is awsome ! I get full boost on the stock bottom end and stock head right at about 3,600-3,800 rpm's and I am running 17psi and I out ran my friend in his 99 GS-T with the PTE SCM50 (50 trim) at the same amount of boost and he's tuned and I am untuned and beat him by atleast a car if not more ! I am not knocking PTE at all but I am just tryin to compair the 2 turbo's and I do not have a clue what RNR's 50 Trim is like good luck !

Sweet GSTeclipse you didn't even kit the kit and you still wasted a pte powered car. Back to the Jet Coat subject. Couldn't I just run some sort of exhaust wrap or turbo wrap in order to reduce under the hood temps? Only draw back is it wouldn't look as pretty right?

That's right biatch!!! FP Green is my dream turbo. :D

Let me say a few things. AGP has their manifold which is mig welded. Our manifold is tig welded and in my opinion much better. Our manifold is all tig welded and comes with a lifetime warranty.

We had never had any issues with fitting anything after the first 3 kits were sold. Ever since then it has been great.

We offer standard and equal length manifolds. We also recommend you getting them coated by us. We don't paint the manifolds either.

If you don't paint your manifolds, then what was the silver shit that burned off your manifold and got all over every corner of my engine compartment? And where's the 100 bucks you owe me for the blow off valve that got cracked in half by your warped flange?

Ha ha ha! Straight up where's his 100 bucks?

HA HA HA! This just keeps getting better and better! Wow RNR I hate to say it but you might as well just close the doors right now because this isn't the only horror story I have heard about you guys and I know there are alot more out there.

never get anything custom from rnr racing. i asked for a custom 3.5" turbo back exhaust system. 1 i didnt fit. took it back he modified it and it still didnt fit. the flex section was dented so it would clear the transfer case. the downpipe hits the front of the chassis and the piping hangs to low so it gets scrapped every single time going up my driveway. the braided stainless steel on the flex is withering away now. also the cat back hits the rear diff bangs it alot and also it doesnt even go all the way back to the back bumper. it stopped a few inches short. after 4 months of complaining trying to get it fixed it still hasnt happen. much like redwards turbo kit and his 100 dollars. i say agp all the way. i own thier largets gt35r turbo kit and its sweet.

You can believe what you want. Randy's car was the 1st 2g that we ever built a kit for. So the wastegate didn't fit right. Since it was the 1st 2g ever there were a couple problems with fitment. We fixed everything as soon as we possible could. We did everythign we possibly could to make the situation right. Even ofering to apy for a broken BOV that you overtorqued. I still can't believe you are holding onto this which happened 7 months ago.

I agreed to pay for his broken BOV 7 months ago. Yes this was 7 months ago and up until a week ago I hadn't even heard from you. He never came and picked it up. I also never failed to repsond to your emails.

Randy, you also the guy who was takling all kinds of shit about Forced Performance all the problems you were having with them. I believe you are just a really hard to please customer.

You don't like the kit, but you fail to mention it made 400whp on low octane at 23psi.

Like the story says. Should have been built on the car. Wasn't.

That's not true.

A. I've never bought anything from FP, so you must be thinking of someone else.

B. Read the story. You call that hard to please?

100 octane, 25 psi, and I'll do it again after I change manifolds.

You know its a bad thread when:

1. Manny opens his mouth.
2. People don't read the rules, regardless of personal/business differences, and pollute the forum with arguments.
3. It gets locked.
