Just like the title says, I'd like some opinions on my build list before I get started :D

My goal for the car is ... as much power as I can get LOL. I'm planning on building big, but I want to still be able to retain street driveability (I'm only looking for it to be tuned to around 500-600awhp while on the street). It won't see the track much, but when it does, I want to be able to have the option to turn it up. From what I've read, this build list should suit me well:

Engine:

Eagle Crank 100mm
CP Stroker Pistons 9:1 85.5mm
Pauter Rods
Kiggly Main Girdle
ACL Race and Thrust Bearings
Ferrea +1mm valves
Ferrea Dual valve springs or Beehive springs
Full port work and a 3 or 5 angle valve job
Cams - Kelford 272
Turbo - undecided

Drivetrain:

Shep Stage 4 transmission w/ 4 spider
DSS 3.5 HD drive shaft
DSS Pro level axle kit w/ Porsche c.v

I plan on running a ProEFI EMS w/ the Pro128. It'll be running on E85 as well.

I'm needing help deciding on a turbo as well. I want something that's going to spool fast, yet be able to handle big power. I didn't put up the fuel system yet either, as that is mostly going to depend on the turbo I go with. I know I'll be using something other than the stock intake manifold, as from what I can tell, it's only good to around 550-600awhp.

All opinions and criticism is welcome :thumb:

Have you taken a look at our stroker shortblocks? We've done all the leg work and R&D for you and can set you up with a proven combo. Our St.1 stroker and St.1 CNC head would meet your goals easily. Good to 650whp depending on your turbo.

Sounds nice but like JAM said, all the guess work is done with one of JAM shortblocks. Comparing prices and all i think i may go the JAM route. I like building my own engines, but these days its almost cheaper for another experienced builders to do.
