The basics of where I'm going to go with my build and theory are simple I just love the input and advice of fellow like minds.

Ok here we go....

I want to go with a 2.3L bored 20 over with forged pistons and rods...( Tracking so far? )

1. Knife edging I get, reduces rotational mass as well as eases with it passing through and retention of oil during operation... But would you say its necessary or are there other options?

ARP everything bolts and studs. Here's the kicker I want to run a GT3794R turbo and as well 1600 cc injectors spitting out some good ole' E85.

2. DSM gurus ... Would yall suggest that size of injectors? And if so what company makes injectors that yall love and would with out a doubt refer your mother to?

Oh this is going to be my daily driver.....jk I kid I kid but really I have a 95 AWD TSi 5 speed but something is wanting me to go Automatic.

3. DSM gods would yall suggest that I stick with the 5 speed? Idk I've never seen what an Auto can do I just think it would be a fun build .

As for cams and such its going to be supertech +1mm valves, dual valve springs and retainers and new bronze valve guides . On cams I'm going to do more research to optimize effectiveness ...any suggestions throw them out.

1. I wouldnt bother with the knife edging it unless your gonna have ffwd racing butcher it other wise it wont make much of a diffrence. they dont cut much off at other machine shops
2. definately do the arp fasteners
3.i am by no means a dsm guru but in my opinion i wouldnt get injecters that you think will just get the job done make sure you give yourself plenty of room for error
4 for your valves and valve guides you should check out epn. he is an ebay seller by the name of engnbldr (i think thats right) they are just as good and they are only about 150 the valves and guides and the new revised lifters.

Question #2. - Injectors for e85.

First, you need to figure out how much boost are you going to run.
Once you know how much you want, then you can use this to determine your injector's size.
Check this example below from Gofer:

By the way, I like FIC injectors (Personal Opinion)

FINDING OUT WHAT INJECTORS YOU NEED
As far as setup goes with injectors, your currently running 750cc injectors that are rated to flow 750cc on gasoline. Since the chemical makeup of ethanol is different you must account for it in your injectors flow rating. To do so you use the following equation by inputing the injectors flow rated on gas multiplied by 0.67. Since the OP currently has 750cc injectors we'll estimate the flow capabilities of them running E85.
750 x 0.67 = 502.5
After you make the switch to E85 your 750cc injectors will flow 502cc which you'd find out isn't even enough to support the airflow of a 16g turbo. The 20g's max airflow is around 52 lbs/min so you'll want a set of injectors that will flow around 880cc but on E85 so do the math.
"pump rated injector flow" x 0.67 = 880
"pump rated injector flow" = 880 / 0.67
"pump rated injector flow" = 1313cc
After doing the above equation you find that a 1300cc injector will flow about 880cc which is what you want to support that 20g, so before you convert to E85 you need to get 1300cc injectors!
