What's up?

I was browsing through the forums when I noticed this thread. I thought I might see what's going on in the midwest. How's the DSM scene out there? How many of you guys meet up on a regular basis?

Just wondering, maybe I'll drive back there someday and I can hook up with a few DSMers out there. I grew up near KC in this little hick ass town called Odessa, you guys know where that is?

I drive through it on my way to Mizzou. Glad to see some people coming back to their roots. As for the scene... very cliquey. Not so many meets except for within smaller groups. How is it in Cali. My roommate just moved to Santa Barbara from LA so I might be out there sometime to visit. Where is Oxnard at?

I am about 30 min south of Santa Barbara and 45 min north of LA. If you get a chance to go there go for it is a very nice town, Santa Barbara is in the the top 5 richest towns in the U.S.. Plus if you are 21 then go to state street, it's about a 1/4 mile of bars and night clubs on one street.

guy in front of me kinda wasnt paying attention and slammed on his brakes in time to bump the car in front of him and i didnt have time to stop. its totalled im stripping my mods off as some of you saw in the ads. my brand new T04B is staying on it as well as brand new corbeau seats and homemade fmic piping...and a 255 fuel pump..i think thats all- and its going to some place in harrisonville if anyone wants to track it down and rip parts off. i dont know how all that works all i know is its not mine anymore and im going to go suck on a 12 gauge.

i didnt take them off because to get the vtrim off and the t25 back on would have been more work than it was to put the vtrim on in the first place because of some modifications i did...and i would have had to put the stock ic and everything back on and the stock ic hoses were cut up for couplers. and insurance did give SOME dough for the mods i left on. im not out and money and i get a little bit in my pocket to help with a down payment on an rx8...???? maybe

So we all keep talking about this elusive meet... I got one for ya. Come to Columbia for the 2k5 Mid-Mo DSM meet on October 1st. I can get you directions if you are interested. They have a pavillion reserved and meat for the Bar-b-q will be provided but you must bring a side dish. A lot of confirmed locals and a lot from STL and southerm MO too! Last year it was around 25 cars or so. I'm pumped... who's with me?

I would love to, but work is pretty busy @ the moment...hell by then we might be hauling shit to and from STL. ....long story, I switched jobs. Ya, ya...I know burnetts was my "dream Job" but you cant have a dream job with a new awful manager.
