Wow been reading this post for a minute seems like a novel I just read glad the kid ended up selling it, hopefully this new owner keeps taking care of it and brings it to the shootout this year. i have the stock radio out of my 93 laser? are they the same?

I have the stock unit from my 90 sitting right in front of me. Its actually a 2 piece unit with a separate tape deck and am/fm unit that uses a cable to connect the two units. The only pieces I don't have are the two triangular brackets used to bolt the units together and into the vehicle. They are a little dusty and have some grease on them but should clean up nicely. The radio worked when I took it out 8 years ago and all the buttons work and click into position but I'm not sure on the tape deck. I would test it but I don't own a single cassette tape . I may have the stock intake snorkel and an uncut, unhacked MAF and air filter can too. I'll check the shop tomorrow.

I have a factory intake in good shape. Do you need the MAF also?

I have a factory '90 deck with AM/FM, tape and CD.
